Monthly Favorites: July + Exciting News!

Hello!

It is July which means another 'monthly favorites' post! If you haven't seen my June favorites or if you haven't herd of this term, its just products or other things which I have really enjoyed from this month so far.

Also, I have some really exciting news! I spend A LOT of my time watching You Tubers like Zoella, Sprinkle of Glitter, Tanya Burr, etc, and for AGES I have been desperate to make my own You Tube channel and now, I am finally in the process of starting it. I already have a name idea and lots of video ideas which involve beauty, fashion and lifestyle (just like my blog) which I have all shoved into one note book. Now I am just waiting while I save up for a Cannon DSLR (as I want the videos to be super good quality) and I am so excited!! My first video should be up around the end of August so I will let you all know when its coming up, yay!

Fashion Faves
'Pixie Shoes', H&M

So the first thing in my July Favorites are these tan coloured pumps from H&M which were something like £9.99. I think they are just so cute and simple for Summer but they also have a unique point in the sole-bit which makes them look like pixie shoes. I have been wearing them quite a lot with outfits like crop tops and skater skirts but they go with anything.

Midi Rings, Topshop

Next are these 'midi rings' from Topshop which came with a few other normal finger rings for around £8. I know this seems like a lot for rings but I think there were like 5 other rings in the packet so that's basically just over £1 each for a ring. I really like these because they are different and I think they just make an outfit look more unique.

Home made necklaces, The Bead Shop

I made these cute little necklaces and I just think they are so cute and I've been wearing them with almost every outfit this month. I think its really nice to make something yourself because its personal and they were also really cheap to make; the beads varied from 20p-50p and the chains were 90p each. They would also make nice presents for your friends.

Make up
 Smashbox Mascara

This mascara is a definite favorite for July. I think this has to be one of my best mascaras EVER, it makes your lashes look so long with the tiniest bit and it doesn't make them get stuck together or clumpy, they all separate out really nicely. Literally since I have been wearing it I have had so many compliments on how long they look, I love it!!! This is only the sample but when it runs out I will have to purchase the normal sized one.

Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hour Concealer

The next product is the Maybelline Super Stay 24 hour concealer. My friend gave this to me after my much loved MAC concealer fell through Brighton Pier and into the sea (lucky sea) because it was too light for her and she hardly ever used it. This is such a good concealer! Its so similar to the MAC one, its moisturising and it stays on for a really long time. Also, I don't know if this is a coincidence but since using this, my skin is so much better. I think its because it has good coverage and therefore I am using less and my skin gets less dirty?.. I don't really know but I definitely recommend this.

Fave Read
"The Summer I Turned Pretty"

My favorite read this month is "The Summer I Turned Pretty" by Jenny Han. I got this years ago and I have the whole series but every Summer I read the whole collection again because I love it so much! I won't give too much away but its about this girl who stays at a beach house with her family friends every Summer and its just about how this Summer she gets older and how she is in love with one of the boys from this family and there is lots of Summer romance and twists in the story. I probably made it sound really bad but trust me, it is so good, you will get hooked.

Fave TV Show
Catfish (MTV)

I thought I would add my favorite TV show at the moment even though I didn't include this in my last favorite but I like to mix it up a bit as I guess it links into lifestyle and my blog is quite beauty and fashion based. This is a show on MTV which is on every Monday in the UK and its basically about people who fall in love online and they go to meet the person and at least 90% of the time, they weren't the person they said they were. I have been watching this since the first series and I don't have much to say about this but I think it is really interesting and suspenseful but its also sort of educational.

Bath Products
Dirty Works, Bath Soak and Salt Scrub

My favorite bath products this month are the Dirty Works 'Bath Soak' and 'Buttery Salt Scrub'. I got given these as presents from my family as a congratulations for getting a new job (which will pay for my camera!) and I love them so much. I have had a few baths using the bath soak and it just makes my bath really bubbly and nice smelling which makes it nice and relaxing. Also the salt srub says its good for dry skin which is ideal for me as (if you read a lot of my posts) you will know I have ultra dry skin. I applied this to my hands, arms and feet and it made them nice and soft so I am really happy with this product.

Hair Care
Tresemme Heat Defense

Okay so I had no idea that heat defense spray even existed till I saw this the other day. Because my hair is bleached and dyed, when I brush my hair sometimes bits of hair break off from the ends where it is beyond damaged and really dry. I found this in boots and curiously I decided to give it a go and I can honestly say its made such a difference. You apply it by spraying it in your hair before you dry it, whilst it is still wet. My hair doesn't feel any different but I'm not getting bits breaking when I brush or straighten my hair, which is great!

Provoke Silverising Conditinor

Lastly, I brought some silverising purple conditioner from Provoke. I must of purchased this millions of times by now but it is such a good conditioner for dyed/bleached blondes as the purple cancels out any yellow or orange brassy tones and keeps it looking a nice bright blonde colour.

So that's my monthly favorites all done! I hope you enjoyed it! If you have any suggestions for my next post or any questions then comment below and also don't forget to +1 this post and follow/add me to your circle!

Thanks for reading, bye!
