Helloooo! I thought that today I would do a post about several make up items I brought from my shopping trip today. They consist of drug store and more expensive products, enjoy!
First I went to Mac and I got a new blusher which was £18. I know this is quite pricey but I find that Mac lasts forever and its such good quality. This one looked really nice and pigmented on my skin and it's also quite bright and has a slight shine.
When I had it tested out, the woman also applied a really nice highlighter
on my cheekbones which I definitely have to get next time as it looked
so nice next to the blush and just looked really summery and bright.
I also got a new moisture-cover concealer from Mac which is recommended for dry skin and visible eye bags (which I have) which was £15. I fell in love with it straight away as my eyes didn't feel as dry and it just has such a flawless coverage.
Moving on to the drug store products, I got a Rimmel 'wake me up' foundation in the shade 'light porcelain' for around £8 from Superdrug. You have probably herd about this a thousand times as it seems to be so popular at the moment. If you haven't, its basically got light reflective particles so it reflects the light away from your face and makes you look really flawless, so I thought I would try it out.
Also, the 'Real Techniques' brushes seem to be really popular too and I needed a new foundation brush as I've had mine for ages. This one is the 'expert face brush' for BB cream or foundation and I like the way it's really rounded as it makes it easier to blend over your skin compared to the flat brushes. They are also really soft, good quality and I think its really similar to the quality of Mac brushes but it was much cheaper (£8.99).
This is quite random but I thought I would show you anyway, I got some Simple face wipes for around £1.50 as well just to take my make up off if I'm too lazy to cleanse. They are also good for editing make up too (like if your mascara prints onto your eye lid or something).
I hope you enjoyed this 'mini make up haul' and maybe you got some inspiration for new products to try out. If you have any questions or suggestions for my next post then comment below, byeeeee!
